WASHINGTON, DC - The Water Design-Build Council announced today that The Haskell Company has joined the Council as an associate member. Founded in 1965, Haskell is a leader in the integrated design-build process, specializing in the general building and civil infrastructure markets. With corporate offices in the U.S. and Mexico, the Jacksonville, Florida-based company has annual revenues of more than $700 million.
Peter Kinsley, Vice President of the Water Division at Haskell, will represent his company at the Water Design-Build Council`s quarterly Board meetings. "We`re pleased to be the newest member of the Water Design-Build Council," said Kinsley. "Haskell and the Council share the common goals of promoting best practices for design-build in water and wastewater projects and furthering awareness about the many advantages the process offers developers and communities across North America."
A pioneer in promoting design-build applications, Haskell was one of the founding members of the Design-Build Institute of America in 1993 and has actively developed and encouraged the enactment of model design-build legislation nationally.
The Water Design-Build Council`s charter members include the following leading design-build companies serving water and wastewater utilities in America: Brown & Caldwell, Camp Dresser & McKee, Carollo Engineers, CH2M HILL, Earth Tech, HDR; MWH Constructors, and Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies. Said Council president Joe Adams, president of MWH Constructors, "The addition of an industry leader like The Haskell Company enhances the Council`s ability to advance the use of design-build project delivery and strengthens the Council as the leading industry voice for design-build."
